Service

At
Busy Bee Wastewater we want to service your system because you are impressed, not because you have already paid us and don't want to lose your money.

Busy Bee Wastewater is an independent service provider based on the Central Coast of New South Wales, we are locally owned with our premises centrally located at Narara.  We have been efficiently servicing and repairing AWTS's since the 1980's.  We provide expert advice and superior customer service.

At Busy Bee Wastewater our aim is to professionally maintain and service AWTS's.  Proper maintenance of an AWTS is a integral part of our goals and ensures two main objectives are met:

  • The long-term operational viability of the individual treatment system, assuring continued performance to its original design specification.

  • Maintaining goodwill between the customer and Busy Bee Wastewater.

Busy Bee Wastewater has approval from council.  We provide genuine 24hr 365 days per year service.  Our extensive  experience enables the correct and timely diagnosis of problems, accurate remedial works and most importantly good advice and ongoing favourable results.  We carry a extensive range of spare parts for all brands of system at competitive prices.

We were officially recognised by Australian Water Technologies Training Services (government training facility) as a quality service provider and invited to contribute to the curriculum for the "Maintenance Operators for Domestic Aerated Wastewater Treatment Systems" training course.  The course is nationally accredited and is recognised and endorsed by New South Wales Local Government Authority, NSW Health Department and the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).  All Busy Bee Wastewater technical staff have qualified for and completed the course giving you vital peace of mind that the service technician on your site is appropriately accredited.

We have spent many months providing extensive training to overseas government and private sectors on the efficient operation and service protocols of an AWTS.

Busy Bee Wastewater's Quarterly Service Report includes over 35 items of inspection, adjustment or service to the AWTS.  This is completed and sent to Council as well as a copy being provided to yourself for your records.  As a courtesy we telephone you prior to entering your property to advise you when the scheduled quarterly service will take place.  If you don't want notifying just let us accordingly.

Council approval is required under Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993 for activities relating to the installation and operation of a system of on-site sewage management.  The Local Government (Approvals) Regulation 1999, which was gazetted on September 1st 1999, is made under the local Government Act 1993 and specifically regulates the requirements for the installation and operation of a system of on-site sewage management.  This Act and regulation - requires owners of aerated wastewater treatment systems to enter into a maintenance contract as part of approval to install and/or operate an aerated wastewater treatment system.  This is to ensure maintenance of both the treatment system and designated  application areas.  The maintenance service provider must forward service reports to Council.

Busy Bee Wastewater service agreement is verbal and requires no up front payments. In the unlikely event you wish to cancel our service agreement you need just let us know.
